Very disappointing. Blackwater took our job to install a 2-person sauna cabin in the spare room and we agreed a morning for a survey. Nobody turned up and there was no call or message to say they were not coming. I chased twice by phone and once by message and got no proper reply - just left hanging, having taken the morning off work. I cannot comment on any workmanship because they never showed, but on reliability and communication this was a complete no-show. Would not recommend on this experience.

There is no excuse - the fault is entirely ours and our follow-up should have been far better when you chased. Blackwater came out to quote for proofing the pigeons behind our solar panels and along the ridge. Daniel was polite enough, and a quote did arrive, but it took a fair bit of chasing and turned up a bit later than arranged for the survey. The price came back higher than I expected with not much detail on the mesh clips or the guarantee I had asked about. No pressure or hard sell, which I appreciated, but overall a fairly lukewarm experience - we are still weighing up other quotes.

Thanks for the honest feedback, Gareth, and I am sorry the survey ran later than arranged and the quote took chasing - that is on us and not the standard we aim for. Fair point too on the detail: the solar-panel mesh clips, the spike runs and the 2-year guarantee should all have been itemised clearly rather than left vague. Pond & Water Feature

Blackwater Property and Grounds did a superb job on our wildlife pond. Daniel and the team dug it out neatly, fitted the liner and underlay perfectly, built in the planting shelf we wanted and added a lovely little bubbling water feature. They also fitted the safety grille just under the surface, which really put our minds at rest with young children about. Tidy every day, bang on time, and quick to answer all my questions. The stone edging looks brilliant. Couldn't be happier - highly recommended.
