A bit of a mixed experience. Daniel came out and was pleasant enough to talk to, and knew his stuff on drainage and weep holes. But it took a fair few chases to actually get the written quote, and when it landed it was noticeably higher than I'd expected for the sleeper option with no real breakdown. Fine to deal with, but the follow-up and the value on the number left me lukewarm, so we're getting another couple of quotes before deciding.

Thanks for the honest feedback, Gareth, and they are fair points. You are right that the written quote took too long to reach you - that is on me and not the standard I hold myself to. I should also have set it out as a proper itemised breakdown so you could see exactly what each part cost, rather than one figure. Glad the drainage and groundwork advice was useful. Daniel and the team were excellent from start to finish. He talked me through whether the existing cable could take a bigger unit, fitted a 9.5kW shower on its own RCBO, and was honest that a pump wasn't needed on our combi. Turned up exactly when promised, spotless work, and left the bathroom cleaner than he found it. Fair price for the quality. Would have back without hesitation.
