Neil came out promptly to assess the overgrown sycamore and gave a clear, well-explained quote. I was impressed that he flagged the need to check whether the tree has a TPO before any work, rather than just booking it in — sensible, honest advice. I haven't hired him yet only because I'm waiting on the council TPO check and comparing a couple of quotes, but he made a very good impression.

Complete Bathroom Refurbishment

The finished walk-in shower and the tiling look genuinely great — Neil clearly knows his stuff and the standard of the work is excellent. My only niggles are that the job overran by several days waiting on tiles to arrive, which was frustrating when you're without a bathroom, and there was a fair bit of dust carried through the house that could have been managed better with more sheeting. The end result is lovely, but those two things stopped it being a perfect job.

Thank you Claire, and I'm really pleased the walk-in shower and tiling came out well. You're quite right on both niggles, though — I should have ordered and confirmed the tiles earlier so the job didn't overrun and leave you without a bathroom, and there should have been more sheeting to keep the dust out of the house. That's on me. I've since tightened up how we confirm material lead times and how we protect the rest of the home. Grateful for the honest feedback. Neil.

Flat Roof - Installation / Repair

Neil fully recovered our leaking flat roof in EPDM and sorted out the ponding by building in a proper fall, so water actually drains now. We've had heavy rain since and not a single leak, which is a huge relief. The work was tidy, he cleared up after himself, and the price felt genuinely fair for the job. Couldn't be happier.
