Dylan came out and measured up the three radiators and gave me a clear, itemised quote covering the new radiators plus draining, refilling and balancing the system. I liked that he was straight with me that it was radiators only and no boiler work was needed - no upselling. Reliable and easy to deal with. I'm comparing a couple of quotes before deciding, but he made a good impression.

Skirting Board Installation

The new skirting and architrave look really smart and the overall fit is tidy - it's finished the rooms off nicely after the new flooring. A couple of the mitre joints did open up slightly and needed caulking to tidy them, and the job ran a day over what we'd agreed. That aside, Dylan was easy to deal with and left everything clean, so I'm pleased with the result.

You are right on both counts, though — those mitres should have closed cleanly, and while timber can move a little, I should have re-checked them before caulking. It also should not have run over. Dylan jet-washed our green, slippery patio and the block-paved driveway back to like-new - honestly it looks transformed. He re-sanded all the block-paving joints with kiln-dried sand afterwards and left everything spotless and tidy. Turned up when he said he would and the price was very fair. Couldn't be happier.
