Took the job for a small brick-and-tile front porch and then never actually turned up. We agreed a morning for Tristan to come and measure up; nobody came and no message to say why. I chased twice by phone and message and got nothing back after the first reply. I appreciate people get busy, but leaving someone waiting in with no word is not on. Cannot comment on the workmanship because no work was ever done - I have had to start again with someone else.

Asked them to quote for a 5x3m insulated garden office. Tristan did come out and was pleasant enough, but it took a fair few chases to actually get the written quote, and when it arrived it was noticeably higher than others I got and a bit vague on the base (screw piles vs slab) and the insulation spec I had asked about. No pushiness, which I appreciated, but in the end I did not feel it was the best value so I went elsewhere. Fine to deal with, just not quite the detail or price I was after.

You're right that my quote came back slower than it should have and was light on the detail you'd asked for around the base and the insulation spec - that's on me and something I'm tightening up. No hard feelings at all on going elsewhere; the right fit matters most. Kernow Multi-Trade Ltd replaced our old 1960s wooden fuse box with a proper 18th-edition consumer unit - full set of RCBOs and an SPD. Tristan did an EICR first, upgraded the meter tails and main earthing/bonding as he said he would, and left everything labelled up with the Part P/Building Regs certificate through in a couple of weeks. Turned up exactly when promised, tidy, explained everything in plain English and the price matched the quote. Genuinely could not fault them - would have back without hesitation.
