Tom did clear the blocked gully in the end and it is draining freely again, so the main job got done. It was a bit slower than arranged - he came a day later than we first agreed - and it was left messier than I would have liked, some silt and gunk on the patio that I had to hose down myself afterwards. Sorted the problem, but the finish and timekeeping let it down a little.

Thank you for the honest, fair feedback, Nadia - and I am sorry. You are right on both counts. We turned up a day later than agreed, and I should have kept you properly informed rather than let it slip. I also should have hosed the silt and gunk off the patio before I left, not left it for you to sort; that is not the finish I want my name on. Tom from Pennine came out quickly, refitted the slipped tiles on the back pitch and checked the rest of the roof for loose ones. Tidy, careful work and kept me posted throughout - roof looks sound again. Very happy, only reason I have not marked value a full five is the callout was a touch more than I expected, but fair for the quality.
