Gareth came out to quote for replacing our misted sealed units and clearly knew his stuff - he talked me through toughened, Low-E and standard clear options and measured everything up properly before pricing. The quote was clear and itemised, and he was straightforward and easy to deal with. We have not gone ahead yet only because we are still comparing a couple of other quotes, but no complaints about him at all.

The rebuilt section of wall itself is solid and the brick and pointing match the rest of the wall really well - you would struggle to tell where the old ends and the new begins, and the footings were sorted properly. Two things held it back: he ran about a couple of days over the timescale he gave us, which was frustrating when we had planned around it, and he left a fair bit of mortar mess and offcuts that we had to clear up ourselves afterwards. Good workmanship in the end, just let down a little on reliability and tidiness.

You are right on both counts though - I ran over the timescale I gave you, and I should have left the site properly clean rather than leaving mortar and offcuts for you to clear. Gareth from Pryce Property Services did a first-rate job. He checked and levelled the subfloor properly before laying, and the LVT went down beautifully - clean, straight and tight joints across the whole 20 square metres. He turned up exactly when he said he would, worked tidily and cleared everything away at the end, and the final price came in precisely as quoted. Really pleased with our new kitchen-diner floor.
