Daniel came out to look at the wasp nest in the loft and was friendly and knew his stuff. He gave me a verbal quote which was a bit higher than a couple of others I've since had, so I haven't booked yet. Turned up roughly on time (about 20 minutes late). No work done yet, so this is just on the quote and the visit.

The two misted units were replaced and the misting is gone, so the main job is done. It was a bit of a saga though - the first measure was wrong so one unit had to be re-ordered, which added a couple of weeks. Daniel himself was polite and easy to deal with, but I'd have liked tighter communication on the delays, and the price crept up from the original quote.

You're absolutely right, and I'm sorry. The first measure was mine to get correct and I didn't - the re-order and the extra couple of weeks came directly from that. I should also have kept you far better updated while we waited on the unit, and been clearer the moment the price moved from the original quote. I'm glad the misting is now fully sorted, but the delay and the comms weren't the standard I hold myself to. Laminate Flooring

Daniel and the Redbrick team did a lovely job on the living room laminate - neat cuts around the doorframes, tidy beading and they took the old underlay away. Turned up on time and cleaned up after. Only reason value isn't a 5 is the boards cost a touch more than I expected, but I'm very happy.

On the boards: we fitted a good mid-range laminate with quality underlay so it stays quiet underfoot and wears well, which nudged the cost up a touch, and we always try to be clear on that at quote stage.
