Callum came out to look at the shower, checked the existing cable and consumer unit properly, and recommended a unit to suit us. He gave a clear, itemised quote that included upgrading the cable, and I was impressed with how thorough and straight he was about it. In the end I'm just comparing a couple of quotes before deciding, but on this showing he's well worth getting out.

The finished wall itself is smashing - double skin with a neat pier and coping, solid as anything and it looks really smart. My only gripes are on the process: it ran several days over what we'd agreed, and the site was left with sand and rubble that I had to ask twice to get cleared away. The workmanship is there and the price was fair, just let down a little on reliability and tidiness.

That said, you're right on both counts: it ran over the days we'd agreed, and the site should have been cleared without you having to ask, let alone twice. That's on us and I'm sorry. Callum hacked off all the old blown render and re-did the front in silicone K-rend, and it has completely transformed the look of the house. The scaffold went up safely and the work was spot on throughout. He kept everything tidy and the price was fair for the standard of finish. Genuinely delighted - would have him back without hesitation.
