Very disappointing. Gareth accepted the air-con job and we agreed a morning for the survey, but he never turned up and didn't call or message to reschedule. I chased twice and got no reply. I've had to start again from scratch, so nothing has progressed at all. Can't recommend on this experience - basic communication would have gone a long way.

That's not the standard we aim for and I completely understand your frustration. There's no excuse for the poor communication. If you'd be willing to give us another chance I'd gladly come out at a time that suits, entirely at your convenience, to survey the office and get things moving. Gareth came out and gave us a quote for the water softener but we haven't gone ahead. He was polite enough on the visit, though he was a bit late and slow to follow up with the written quote after chasing. The price felt on the high side for a standard block-salt unit and he was vague on whether a separate drinking-water hard tap was included. Fine, but didn't quite win us over - we're getting another quote to compare.

Thanks for the honest feedback, Eleanor. You're right that I was slower than I should have been getting the written quote over after the visit - that's on me and I've tightened up how I follow up. On price, a metered block-salt unit does sit a little higher, but I should have explained the value more clearly - and confirmed plainly that yes, a separate hard drinking-water tap is always included. Absolutely delighted with the new aluminium bifolds. Gareth surveyed within the week, kept us updated on the lead time, and the anthracite grey RAL7016 finish is spot on. The flush threshold is exactly what we wanted with a toddler around, the fit is airtight, and they left the room spotless. FENSA certificate came through a few days later. Genuinely transformed the back of the house - would recommend Severnvale without hesitation.
