Steve messaged straight away and sounded like he knew his stuff, and we arranged for him to come and take a look at the roof. On the day he was meant to come round, he just didn't turn up - no call, no text, nothing. I messaged him afterwards to check if everything was OK and never heard back. We're left a bit stuck as we still need the leak sorted.

Jane, you're right to be unhappy and I'm sorry - that's not how I operate normally. I had a mix-up with the diary that day and it should never have meant you were left waiting with no word from me, that's on me. I did miss your message after and should have got straight back to you. If you'll have me, I'd like the chance to put it right - happy to come out this week, at a time that suits you, no charge for the call-out.
