Very disappointing. Thameside Trades & Grounds took the job for our failing septic tank and soakaway and we agreed a day for them to come and assess it for a sewage treatment plant. On the day nobody turned up and nobody called. I chased twice by phone and message and got no reply either time, so I was left waiting in for an appointment that never happened. No explanation, no apology, no attempt to rearrange. Given this is an urgent drainage problem with effluent surfacing in the garden, being messed around like this was really unhelpful. Cannot comment on the quality of any work because none was ever done - they simply did not show.

Eleanor, I am genuinely sorry. You are right that we agreed a day to assess the tank and we failed to attend, and worse, did not answer when you chased. That is not the service we aim to give, and with effluent surfacing it was the last thing you needed. There is no excuse - the fault is ours and I apologise unreservedly. I would very much like to put it right: I can attend at short notice to carry out the assessment and percolation test and get a treatment-plant solution moving. Please contact us via the job and I will prioritise it.

Absolutely delighted with Thameside Trades & Grounds. They came out, listened to exactly what I wanted for the garden lighting, and fitted around 8 warm-white LED spike and wall lights down the path and around the patio, all on a proper switched outdoor circuit with an RCD and a dusk-till-dawn photocell. Everything is IP-rated and the SWA cabling was neatly buried and Part P certified. Turned up when they said, tidied up every scrap of cable and turf, and the finish is spotless. Fair price for the quality. Would recommend without hesitation.
