Disappointing. Gareth accepted the artex ceiling job and we agreed a morning for him to come and look, but he never turned up and stopped answering my messages after that. No call, no text to reschedule. I'd asked a fair question about whether the pre-2000 Artex needed an asbestos check first and heard nothing back. Left me chasing and wasted a week I could have spent finding someone else. Can't speak to the quality of the work because none was done.

Rhodri, I am sorry - this is not how I like to work. The appointment got mixed up at our end and I dropped the ball replying to your messages, which I understand was frustrating and left you chasing. Your question about whether the pre-2000 Artex needed an asbestos check first was a fair one and deserved a proper answer. I can only apologise for both. Gareth from Tirwen was excellent from start to finish. Turned up exactly when he said, jetted the blocked gully clear within an hour and then ran a CCTV survey that found root ingress in the shared side passage - showed me the footage and explained the repair options clearly. Tidy, polite, fair price and no hard sell. The drain has run perfectly since. Would absolutely use again and recommend.
