Came out promptly to look at the upstairs signal problem and were friendly and professional. They gave a verbal quote to replace the aerial cabling and add a new splitter, but it felt a little on the high side and they couldn't give a firm date, so I haven't booked yet. Fair enough diagnosis, just weighing it up against another quote.
Trentbridge Property Care replied
Thanks for having us out and for weighing it up fairly. Happy to explain the quote: it covers replacing the run of aerial cabling, fitting a powered splitter so every point holds signal, and testing each outlet afterwards — that testing is what prevents call-backs. I appreciate it read a little high, so I'm glad to break it down line by line. I can also hold a firm date — say next Tuesday or Thursday morning — with no obligation. The door stays open whenever you're ready. — Marcus, Trentbridge Property Care

The sycamore was reduced well and looks much healthier, and they clearly knew what they were doing. Marked down on two things: they turned up a fair bit later than agreed and the job took longer than quoted, and they left a good deal of sawdust and some smaller branches behind that I had to clear myself. Decent work overall, just let down by the finish and timekeeping.
Trentbridge Property Care replied
Thank you for the honest feedback — you're right on both counts and I'm sorry. We turned up later than agreed and the job overran, and we should have kept you updated rather than leaving you waiting. Leaving sawdust and smaller branches behind isn't our standard either; a proper site clear-down is part of the price and we fell short. I'd like to come back at no charge to blow down the sawdust and take away the remaining offcuts. I'm genuinely glad the crown reduction itself hit the mark. — Marcus, Trentbridge Property Care

Excellent job repointing the front of our Victorian terrace. Turned up when they said, matched the lime mortar beautifully and left the front looking like new. Tidy and polite throughout. Only reason value isn't a 5 is the price crept up slightly, but the work fully justified it. Would use again.
Trentbridge Property Care replied
Thank you so much — this genuinely means a lot. Getting the lime mortar match right on a period frontage is something we take pride in, so I'm delighted it blends in and left the front looking like new. You're quite right that the price crept up slightly: once we raked out we found a bit more perished mortar than first expected, and I should have flagged that to you sooner. Noted for next time. It was a pleasure working on your home and we'd be glad to help again. — Marcus, Trentbridge Property Care
