Nigel came out promptly to look at a wheelchair ramp for my elderly father and was polite and helpful about the gradient and handrail. The written quote was a bit higher than we expected, so we're weighing it up against another before deciding. No complaints about him personally - just want to be sure on the cost as it's for a relative.

The new uPVC fascias and soffits look smart and the finish is good. That said, the job ran a couple of days over what we'd agreed and there was a fair bit of old timber and offcuts left in the garden that I had to clear myself. Nigel was pleasant to deal with though, and the end result is fine.

Thank you for the honest feedback, and I'm sorry we fell short on two counts. Running a couple of days over the agreed dates isn't good enough — I've since tightened how I schedule material deliveries and weather contingency so completion dates hold firmer. Leaving old timber and offcuts for you to clear was our mistake; a proper skip and full clear-down at handover is our standard and it shouldn't have slipped here. Really pleased with the front garden wall. Nigel matched the house brick almost perfectly, the pillars are lovely and it was finished on time. Cleared up after himself each day. Only reason not full marks on value is it came in slightly above the first estimate, but I'd happily use them again.
