Came round to measure up the three blinds and gave me a written quote, all polite and prompt. The price was a bit higher than I was hoping for a straightforward fitting, so I'm getting one more quote before I decide. No complaints about him though - turned up when he said and knew his stuff.

Loft Conversion

Got the loft boarded out and it's usable for storage now, which is what I wanted. Two niggles though: he ran a fair bit over the day he'd quoted, and left a bit of a mess around the loft hatch - insulation bits and offcuts I had to hoover up myself. The boards themselves are solid and he was pleasant enough to deal with. Job done, just not the tidiest.

Thank you for the honest feedback, it is fair and I take it on the chin. We did run over the day I quoted, and we should have done a proper end-of-job clear-down rather than leaving insulation bits and offcuts around the hatch for you to hoover. That was on us. From now we lay a dust sheet under the hatch and bag every offcut before we leave. Guttering and Rainwater Pipe

Excellent job. Marcus cleared the whole run of guttering, showed me the muck he pulled out, and refitted the loose downpipe rock solid. Turned up on time, clean and tidy, no fuss. Only reason value isn't a 5 is it was a touch more than I'd guessed, but the work was spot on. Would use again.

We cleared the full rear run (a little more than expected once we got up there) and refitted the loose downpipe with a new bracket so it is held solid, which nudged the cost up slightly.
