Gareth came out to quote for a water softener under the kitchen sink plus a separate drinking-water filter tap. He clearly knew his stuff - talked me through the 15mm supply, the drain point and sizing for our household, and gave a clear, itemised quote with no pressure. I haven't hired yet as I'm still comparing a couple of quotes, but on the basis of the visit and the quote he made a good impression.

Gareth brought our antique mahogany dining table back beautifully and the French polishing has restored a lovely deep shine to the top. Very careful, polite and considerate throughout, and he left everything clean and tidy. Two small things kept it from full marks: the colour match on the repaired water-ring area is very slightly off in certain light, and the job took a little longer than his original estimate. Overall still a good result and we're pleased with it.

Absolutely first-class from start to finish. Gareth fitted the ceiling-mounted projector, the motorised drop-down screen and the 5.1 surround speakers exactly as we'd hoped, with every cable chased into the walls and completely hidden. He calibrated the whole system so the picture and sound are spot on, left the media room spotless, and the final price came in exactly as quoted. Couldn't recommend him more highly.
