Really disappointing. We agreed a morning for him to come and grind the two stumps out, and he simply never turned up - no call, no text. I chased twice and got one vague reply saying he'd rebook, then nothing at all. I took time off work for it and was left waiting. Can't speak to the actual grinding as no work was ever done. Wouldn't rely on them again.

I'm sorry, Eleanor - that's not the service anyone should get, and the mix-up over the morning was mine. You were right to expect a call, and leaving you waiting after you'd taken time off isn't good enough. I'd genuinely like to put it right: I'm happy to come and grind both stumps at a time that properly suits you, no fuss and no charge for the earlier trouble. If you'd rather not, I completely understand. Either way, my sincere apologies for letting you down.

Came out to look at the TV mount and gave a quote in the end, but it was a bit of a faff - turned up later than agreed and I had to chase for the figure. Pleasant enough in person. The price felt on the steep side for the job, especially the cable-concealing part, so I've decided to get another quote before committing. Not bad, just didn't win me over.

Thanks for the honest feedback, Eleanor, and fair enough. I was later than we'd agreed and slow getting the figure back to you, and that's on me - I'm sorry, and it's something I'm tightening up. The price did reflect recessing the socket and fully concealing the HDMI and aerial in the wall rather than a simple bracket fix, but I take the point that I didn't explain that clearly enough at the time. Whoever you choose, I hope the install goes smoothly, and thanks for giving me the chance to quote.

Absolutely first class. Nathan sorted the structural engineer's calc and building control himself, fitted a proper gallows bracket and made good the floor and ceiling so well you'd never know a chimney breast had been there. Tidy, on time every day, and the price matched the quote. Would have him back without hesitation.
