Daniel came out to quote for replacing our timber balustrade with a glass balustrade and stainless handrail. He clearly knew his stuff and talked me through the options - frameless glass on standoffs versus glass set into a slotted channel with posts - with the pros and cons of each. The quote was clear and well itemised. I haven't hired anyone yet as I'm still comparing a couple of quotes, but he made a good impression.

Daniel set up the smart lighting, the smart thermostat and the automated blinds with voice control across the house, and overall it works well. He was polite and easy to deal with throughout. Two small things kept it from top marks: one lighting scene was flaky and needed a follow-up visit to sort, and the job ran noticeably longer than the original estimate. Happy with the end result though.

You are quite right on both counts - that one lighting scene needed a return visit to settle down, and the automation took longer than I first estimated, for which I apologise. I have since stabilised the flaky scene and given the whole system a proper retest, so it should stay reliable now. I am really glad the lighting, thermostat and blinds are all working well for you, and please do let me know if anything ever needs tweaking.

Daniel carried out the full EICR on my two-bed rental flat between tenancies and it was spot on. He provided the signed certificate my letting agent needed along with a clear, itemised list of the remedial work. He arrived exactly when he said he would and the final price matched the quote. Couldn't ask for more - highly recommended.
